God wants to save the world through the Church which is the body of Christ and wants his reign over the earth as well. The spiritual gift(charisma) that we have received must be used not only within the Church, but also in the World as well for God's holy purposes. The Korean Church has been interested in discovering spiritual gift(charisma) through various different means and developing them. But we must confess that the training and the usage of these spiritual gift(charisma) have been mainly for the ministries within the Church. The source of this problem lies within the pastors and not the congregation. If the pastor who knows about the importance of world evangelism but is only focused on the growth of his church,then it is because he has not truly realized this to be a part of Jesus Christ's true reign over the earth. As a result, his church grows but the growth loses its balance in the fact that it has not resulted in a sound relationship between the society and the church. If the local church cannot embrace the local society and keep a healthy relationship, then the growth and the impact of the church will naturally diminish. A Christian must serve and live a life as a worshipper but at the same time, he must live a life serving and volunteering in the local society. That is correctly understanding the will of God who has given the spiritual gift(charisma) to the Christian. And when this is accomplished, a Christian can truly live a life with Christian pride and contribute in the growth of the Church as well.
