1950년대 전북지역 교지의 역할과 의미 - 문학 관련 양상을 중심으로

Abstract

This study examines the role and meaning of school magazines in Jeonbuk region in the 1950s, focusing on aspects related to literature. In the process of revitalizing the publication of school magazines in the Jeonbuk region in the 1950s, the literary teachers who taught students were active. They led literary classes, arts clubs, and academic societies, and were directly or indirectly involved in the planning and publication of school magazines, and they published writing guidance and poetry in the school magazine to encourage students' writing activities. Furthermore, they took on the role of established writers by publishing their works directly in the school magazines. It can be said that the editorial line centered on literature and the participation of writers contributed to the process of establishing the content and form of school magazines in the Jeonbuk region in the 1950s. Functioning as an activity area for not only students but also writers, school magazines played a partial role as a medium that strengthened the foundation of local literature and provided a space for presentations. In particular, the case of 'Jeongo', in which writers were rotated between the school magazine and literary coterie magazine, shows that the school magazines served as a platform for strengthening the continuity of writing while serving as the main stage for local students to write. Considering these points, the school magazines in Jeonbuk region in the 1950s provided an opportunity to build the identity and status of each school, and created an atmosphere where student writing can continue and a basis for editing and publishing school magazines, so that school magazines can be continuously published even after the 1960s. It can be seen that it is meaningful in that it has built a foundation that exists.
