지난 10년간 국내에서는 다양한 문화예술교육 정책과 프로그램들이 시행되어 왔다. 하지만 문화예술교육이 주로 예술교육의 관점에서 이루어진 바에 비하면, 인간의 인지나 문화, 그 융합된 산물이라는 관점에서의 논의는 이루어진바가 적다. 본 논문은 인간의 깊은 내면과 삶의 다양한 면면의 표현인 인지와 문화인지가 어떻게 문화예술로 변화 발달해 가는지, 그 경로와 과정을 분석해 보고자 하였다. 인간 인지와 마음의 측면에 대한 고려를 위한 발달적 체계 접근, 인지와 문화인지가 어떻게 서로 작동하는 지에 대한 체화인지 이론, 그리고 인지와 문화인지와 문화예술이 개인과 분야와 영역에서 어떻게 상호작용하는지에 대한 체계모델 관점을 차례로 고찰해 보았다. 이를 통해 문화예술이 단지 산물로서의 결과물이 아니라 인간 몸과 상호작용하고, 여전히 함께 공진화를 만들어 나가는 문화인지적 구성 안에서 문화예술교육의 가능성과 방향성을 모색하고자 하였다. 세 접근의 분석을 통해 인지와 문화인지, 문화인지와 문화예술, 그리고 문화예술교육이 서로 새로운 구조와 기능을 만들어가는 관계이자 다양한 조건과 맥락 내에서 인간의 내 외부에서 구성, 재구조화 되는 관계임을 고찰하였다. 이는 기존의 문화예술교육에 새로운 관점과 프레임을 제공 구축하기 위한 시도이기도 하다. 논의에서는 이러한 관점들이 문화예술교육에 어떤 시사점을 줄 수 있는지 그 함의를 모색하였다.
Abstract
This paper aims to examine the process and the trajectory of changes and transition between cognition, cultuĝnition, cultural art. Three approaches, developmental systems Approach, embodied theory, systems models were applied to execute for this purpose. Through the investigation we found that there are the bidirectional relationship among cognition, cultuĝnition, and cultural art. Cultuĝnition, and cultural art are not just cultural products but a new cultural structure which is to interact and to co-evolve with human brain and mind. Developmental systems approach is that an appropriate frame to overcome an old dichotomy between gene and environment and to explain various phenomena around human culture and art. Embodied theory is the fourth generation in cognitive science and profoundly accepted in art fields especially cognitive literature. Finally, systems model proposed by Csikszentmihaly are very useful to illuminate history of production and extinction of artwork and style. There were discussed some implications and prospects for cultural art education.
