지역연계 학교예술교육의 질적 성장 및 제고를 위한 교사의 역할과 지원에 대한 고찰

본 연구의 목적은 지역과 연계하는 학교예술교육의 질적 성장 및 제고를 위하여 핵심적인 실행자인 교사의 역할과 교사의 깊이 있는 실행을 지원하는 방안을 고찰해 봄으로써 지역사회 연계학교예술교육의 질적 제고를 위한 정책적·실천적 제언을 하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 지역연계 학교예술교육의 핵심 실행자로서의 교사, 지역연계 학교예술교육의 근거가 되는 국가 수준 교육과정의 질 관리 관점과 방향, 지역연계 학교예술교육 질 관리의 관점에서 실행자인 교사와 교사의수업이 모두 배제되는 문제를 탐색하였다. 그리고 지역연계 학교예술교육에서 교사의 위치와 역할을 M. Fullan의 변화 주도자(change agent)의 관점에서 관련 문헌을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 교사가 핵심 실행자로서 지역사회 연계 학교예술교육의 변화를 주도할 수 있도록 지원하는 방안으로써 전문성 강화를 위한 강력한 교사학습공동체 지원, 교사의 상호소통과 교사학습을 장려하는 학교문화 조성, 지역사회 조직화로의 인식 전환과 실천을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 고찰한 결과를 토대로 지역연계 학교예술교육을 위한 질 관리 관점의 재정립, 실질적인 수업 개선을 위한 질 관리, 교사의 전문적 자본 강화를 위한 방안 마련을 제언하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to make policy-level and practical suggestions to improve the quality of school arts education by contemplating the direction of quality management of local-connected school arts education and the role of teachers who are the main implementers. For this purpose, the view of national curriculum, which is a guideline for the school curriculum, the perspective of evaluation in the quality management cases of local-linked school arts education, and the problems revealed herein were explored. In addition, the position and role of teachers in local-connected school arts education were considered from the perspective of the change agent of M. Fullan. As a necessary support measure for teachers to lead changes in local community-linked school arts education as a key implementer, professional learning community to strengthen professionalism, school culture to encourage mutual communication and teacher learning, and community organizing were considered. Based on the results discussed, it was proposed to redefine quality management perspectives for regional-linked school arts education, manage quality for practical class improvement, and strengthen professional capital of teachers.
