백석 시에 나타난 감정과 언어의 관련 양상

Abstract

Study regarding a language of Baekseok's poetry has been proceeded around some items which there is what was already presented in early study. The item was just attachment regarding dialect, antithesis and numeration, scenery description and narrative poem. That kind of characteristics are related with feelings to be given in Baekseok's poetry, and I will look into an aspect in this paper. It is mainly emotional sorrow being given in Baekseok's poetry. The sorrow has property same as feelings called 'melancholy' which appears typically from modern artists. Sorrow is presented by feelings controlled by the modern whole not being personal feelings. A babyhood experience, past history, the objects which cannot be recovered eternally such as a basic space cause feelings of sorrow. Baekseok met that kind of objects through feelings of sorrow. Feelings of sorrow is related to an attachment regarding a dialect, technique department of numeration. In Baekseok's poetry sorrow is electric power that constantly takes in the broken piece of the world as the modern melancholy subject is so. His poetry searches for the broken piece remaining by trace of the whole which has disappeared. I will explain the subject to step forward to that kind of search to concept called 'collector' in this paper. A collector collects historic things while opposing it to the contemporary actuality that traditional order was collapsed in. Baekseok accumulates a list of things putting the value that he will internalize through rove. Techniques of an attachment regarding a dialect, a scenery description, numeration and a repetition etc. can understand it one during the characteristics that a language of a collector carried. An aspect of the mimesis which appeared in Baekseok's poetry is the element that the subject and the modern melancholy subject which appeared in his city are discriminated. Be caused by a confusion of the object, and the modern melancholy subject attempting mimesis with the object is embracing a risk of schizophrenia. But the subject in Baekseok's poetry overcomes the modern subject to adhere to identity through mimesis, does not reach to schizophrenia. The subject which appeared in his poetry will be similar to the object while attempting mimesis with the object. However, It is not reduced to the object. Like the languages that reached at the highest step of mimesis attitude, Baekseok's poetry has put the process that the gauge that the subject recognizes meaning of oneself and the world.
