초록
이 시론의 목적은 ‘부정신학’과 비교할만한 ‘부정인간학’의 기초를 세우는 데 있다. 이 작업은 인간을 개념적으로 정의(개념화)할 수 있다고 본 지금까지의 인간 논의들(긍정인간학)이 특정한 인간을 타자화하거나 인간 자체를 제한하는 한계를 가질 수밖에 없다고 진단했기 때문에 기획된 것이다. 부정인간학이 성립하기 위해서는 먼저 그것의 학적 기초가 마련되지 않으면 안 된다. 부정신학의 학적 기초가 신의 무한성에 있는 것과 마찬가지로 부정인간학의 학적 기초는 인간의 무한성에 있다. 그리하여 우리는 먼저 무한성에 대한 변증법적, 현상학적, 해석학적 고찰을 통해 인간의 무한성을 해명함으로써 부정인간학의 학적 기초를 수립하고자 한다. 이러한 기초 위에서 성립된 부정인간학은 인간을 개념화할 수 있다는 생각이 부당하다는 사실을 깨우칠 수 있는 실천적 효력을 발휘할 수 있을 것이다. 그것은 인간의 개념화에 의거하여 행사되어온 억압과 폭력을 부당한 것으로 폭로하고 인간에 대한 한층 개방된 이해를 통해 인간 상호간의 소통을 더욱 증진시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공할 것이다. 바로 여기에 부정인간학의 실천적 가치가 있다.
Abstract
This essay aims to set up a new philosophical discourse on the human being. The reason is that the traditional discourses on the human being may be a theoretical ground to suppress some people who have not the essential properties of human being. A new discourse which we will to set up is named ‘the negative anthropology’ that is to be comparable ‘the negative theology’. The negative theology has a practical significance in so far as God is an infinite substance. To set up the negative anthropology, we have to get it's theoretical foundation. It is to confirm the infinity of human being. We have elucidated this problem in terms of the dialectical, phenomenological and hermeneutical explanations on the infinity of human being. The negative anthropology has a practical significance; it will to deconstruct the conceptual definitions of human being maintained by the traditional positive anthropologies. So it will be able to set free some people who have been suppressed by a substantial power to conceptualize human being in a certain form. And it will give us a chance to accept the individual particularity of the others and to promote the communications to understand the otherness.
