해양문화유산의 보전 및 활용에 관한 탐색적 연구 : 뉴스와 SNS 데이터 비교분석을 통한 인식 유형화를 중심으로

해양문화유산은 역사적, 지역적 가치를 동시에 지니고 있어 현재와 미래세대를 위한 공공자산으로, 교육, 문화, 관광 등을 통해 지역경제를 활성화할 수 있는 자원이다. 본 연구는 해양문화유산에 대한 대중의 인식을 이해함으로써 해양문화유산의 지속가능한 보존과 활용을 논의할 수 있는 기반을 마련하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 언론 매체와 다양한 소셜 미디어 플랫폼의 데이터를 비교 분석하여 해양 문화유산에 대한 여론과 인식을 다섯 가지 유형으로 분류하고 각각에 대한 시사점을 제시했다. ① 역사적 가치 중심, ② 관광 활용 중심, ③ 교육적 활용 중심, ④ 정책 추진 중심, ⑤ 개발 가치 중심이다. 본 연구 결과는 해양문화유산의 보존과 활용을 위한 전략을 수립하고 이를 활용한 지속가능한 발전을 도모함 으로써 연안지역의 경쟁력 강화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
Maritime cultural heritage is a public asset now and for future generations, as it holds both historical and regional value. It also serves as a resource that can revitalize local economies through education, culture, and tourism. This study aims to establish a foundation for discussing the sustainable preservation and utilization of maritime cultural heritage by understanding public perceptions. To achieve this, the study compared and analyzed data from news outlets and various social media platforms, categorizing public opinion and perceptions of maritime cultural heritage into five types, providing corresponding implications for each: ① Historical value-oriented, ② Tourism utilization-focused, ③ Educational utilization-centered, ④ Policy promotion-emphasized, and ⑤ Development value-highlighted. The findings are expected to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of coastal regions by formulating strategies for the conservation and utilization of maritime cultural heritage, thereby promoting sustainable development that leverages these resources.
