Abstract
This study the gender and age of adults who visited the dental clinic the use of dental care subjective oral health awareness, oral health-related habits and oral symptoms were identified and basic data necessary for the development of oral health promotion programs, oral health projects and systems were provided along with the ultimate improvement of the quality of life of adults. A self-written questionnaire was conducted from May to August 2025 during the study period and adults who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study were selected as the subject of the survey after explaining the purpose, content and purpose of the survey in advance and 268 copies were finally analyzed. For data analysis a frequency analysis was conducted using SPSS/Win 25.0 for general characteristics and an x2-test was conducted to select significant variables in which questions related to general characteristics, dental use, subjective oral health awareness, oral health-related habits, and oral symptoms affect the presence or absence of dental caries. Logistic regression analysis was conducted using only significant variables that affect the oral test results in the x2-test analysis data to predict the factors affecting dental caries. There were many women by gender and the distribution by age group accounted for a high proportion of 40-49 years old. The higher the age group, the lower the rate of dental caries. In the past year, dental caries were low in the case of visiting dental medical use, dental caries were high in the case of not visiting and dental caries were low in the case of healthy oral health awareness and dental caries in the case of unhealthy. In the case of brushing more than 5 times, dental caries were low, and dental caries were high in the case of one time. In the case of no toothache, there was no dental caries in the case of no toothache in the case of no toothache, in the case of no toothache in the case of no toothache in the case of bad breath, in the case of dental caries. In the age group the rate of dental caries was 0.766 times higher in the 20s, 0.602 times in the 30s, 0.497 times in the 40s and 0.381 times in the 50s, compared to those over 60 years old. As a result of the above in order to prevent dental caries through oral health management of adults, it is considered that the necessity of motivation and perception change should be emphasized so that active prevention and management can be achieved and education and guidance such as brushing suitable for the subject should be activated when visiting a dental clinic. Considering the impact of dental caries on oral health and quality of life, it is believed that the development and support of public health policies in the community should be further strengthened.
