부모 불화를 경험한 아동의 놀이치료 사례연구

본 연구는 부모의 불화로 인해 산만함과 정서적 불안정을 보인다는 문제로 의뢰된 6세7개월 남아에 대한놀이치료 사례 연구이다. 아동은 대략 2년 전 부모의 불화가 본격적으로 심각해진 이후부터 산만해졌고, 고집을 피우다가도 급격히 위축되며 母에게 아부를 떠는 등 혼란스러운 정서․행동적 변화를 보였다고 했다. 아동의 부모는 각각 한 번의 이혼 후 재혼한 상태였고, 父의 신체적 폭력으로 경찰에 신고를 할 정도의 부부싸움이 수차례 있었으며, 아동은 부부싸움을 여러 차례 목격한 것으로 보고되었다. Full Battery 심리검사를 실시한 후, 2014년 10월부터 2015년 7월까지 주 1회 회기별 40분씩 놀이치료를 32회 진행했으며, 아동에대한 치료 후에는 부모상담을 실시하였다. 아동은 놀이치료 과정에서 경찰-도둑놀이에 몰두했는데, 경찰은아동의 모, 통제하는 사람, 아동의 초자아의 측면을, 도둑은 아동의 부, 통제되지 않은 사람, 아동의 내적 욕구를 상징하는 것으로 해석할 수 있었다. 아동은 놀이를 통해 두 대극적인 힘의 갈등과 투쟁을 보여주었으며, 점차 두 대극을 수용하고 버틸 수 있게 되었다. 부모가 보고하는 아동의 문제행동이 감소하고 부부 문제를 해결하기 위한 부부상담이 시작되면서 아동에 대한 개별 놀이치료는 일시적으로 종결되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the therapy progress and play contents of a 7-year old boy exposed to severe parental marital conflict in child-centered play therapy. The child had problems with inattention, and impulsivity, and showed ambivalent feeling and behaviors. The parent were remarried couple, and have experienced severe marital conflict. The child have witnessed the violent fight of parent. The researcher conducted 32 session play therapy once per week. The results were as follows: The child had played out Police-thief. The police had represented his mother, controlling person and superego. The thief had represented his father, uncontrolled person and id. The play was focused on the conflict and struggle of police-thief. It meant that the real father-mother and the opposite in the child psyche was confronted. The child was need to hold and unite the opposite. Through the fight and struggle of police-thief, the child came to restore his inner power, and adjustment was improved. The analysis of symbol of play was discussed.
