본 연구는 왜곡된 자기애를 가진 자기애적 성격장애자들의 하나님 표상형성에 대한 변인을 규명하여 건강한 자기애의 회복을 위한 기독교상담 방안을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 자기애적 성격장애자의 이해를 돕기 위해 자기애적 성격장애의 정의와 개념, 원인, 양육형태, 주요정서 및 특징, 구분, 자기애적 성격장애자가 하나님 표상을 형상화할 때 나타나는 관계적 변인들에 대해 제시하였다. 또한 기독교상담 방안에서 자기애적 성격장애자를 위한 사랑의 중요성과 하나님사랑, 자기사랑, 타인사랑을 통한 변화와 친밀함의 방법들에 관해 논하였다. 자기애적 성격장애자는 정서적 불안감이나 수치심, 질투심, 공허감, 불완전한 느낌, 열등감, 낮은 자존감 등이 내면에 문제시 되어 장애를 일으킨다는 사실을 밝혔다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 이러한 정서적 불완전함의 문제로 괴로워하는 자기애적 성격장애자의 문제점들에 대하여 건강한 인격을 소유한 자들이 함께 공감하고, 이해하고, 돌봄을 제공함으로써 자기애적 성격장애자들이 보다 풍성한 인간관계와 신앙생활을 할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 하였다.
Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the formation of the image of God in people with narcissistic personality disorder. This work reviews morbid self-love and the obstacles it presents to developing a healthy viewpoint of God, in an endeavor to providing effective Christian counseling for people with this disorder. This paper deals with narcissistic personality disorder, the factors contributing to the formation of the image on God in people, with narcissistic personality disorder are discussed; this is done with respect to the following three aspects: (1) how the sinful nature of humans is related to self-love, (2) how the view of God is held out of healthy self-love and (3) how narcissistic personality disorder leads to incorrect interpretations regarding the image of God. Also, this article observes how the power of love is an essential element of Christian counseling, enabling people with narcissistic personality disorder develop a healthy, acceptable image of God. Christian counseling holds that love is of vital importance in treating the disorder. It aims to assist such people in recovering their intimacy with God by acquiring a correct understanding of God's love. Further, the counselors encourage them to learn to love themselves in a genuine and healthy manner, and also learn to love others likewise. Narcissistic personality disorder is closely related with emotional instabilities such as anxiety, disgrace, jealousy, emptiness, and a sense of insignificance. The researcher hopes that this study will be of help to people suffering from this disorder, by treating them with love and understanding through Christian counseling.
