여성주의 성찰성과 치유의 인문학: 탈북여성문제를 중심으로

본 논문은 철학, 넓게는 인문학이 인간의 치유에 관여한다는 일반적 사유를 여성주의 관점에서 재검토 하고, 인문학이 치유의 기능을 하기 위해서는 인문학 자체가 젠더 관점에서 치유되어야 함을 주장한다. 치유된 인문학의 관점에서 중요한 방법으로서 ‘성찰성’이 여성주의 방법, 나아가 인문학의 방법으로 어떤 역할을 할 수 있는지를 살펴본다. 본 논문은 이를 바탕으로 탈북여성의 문제를 분석하고자 한다. 탈북여성의 직접적 진술이나 간접적 경험 기술과 이야기 전달에 있어서 인식론적 관점이 어떻게 작동해야 하는지, 이들 이야기를 들을 때 성찰성이 어떻게 작동할 수 있는지를 살펴본다. 성찰성은 안과 바깥, 주체와 객체를 통합하는 것이라기보다는 대립되고 차이를 지니는 관점들의 중첩성을 유동적으로 포괄하는 태도로 규정한다. 이런 방법을 통해 탈북여성 경험을 좀더 잘, 그리고 객관적으로 이해할 수 있으리라 기대한다.
Abstract
In this paper, I examine the concept of healing humanities and redefine it from a feminist perspecitve. The main role of philosophy, more broadly humanities in the East and the West, has been considered to be healing the mind of people. But to heal in a proper sense, humanities itself must be healed by dint of gender perspectives. As a key method of humanities, reflectivity or reflexivity with a feminist import brings us a new concept of objectivity, what Harding called ‘strong objectivity’ that constituted a base of standpoint theory of knowledge. I consider the north Korean women defectors’ question by utilizing the concept of reflectivity. I claim that this concept is indispensible to approach the complexity the north Korean women living in the South present to us. Mutlple layers lying under the various kinds of strories of north Korean women told to us can only be disclosed by a reflective method of philosophy.
