본 연구는 그 동안 누락되었던 영화소설들을 발굴 정리하고 그것들을 총체적으. 그 결과 해방 전까지 영화소설이라는 타이틀을 붙이고 발표된 소설이 그 동안 알려졌던 것뿐만 아니라 총 51편에 이르는 것을 알아낼 수 있었다 . 1920 , 특히 서양 장편극영화의 보급과 1926년 나운규가 만든 아리랑 의 폭발적인 성공 이후 영화는 신파극이나 신파소설을 대체하는 대중들의 오락으로 자리 잡게 되었다 .. 이 시기의 영화소설의 유형으로는 대중교양의 의지를 지니고 창작되었으나 장르적 차별성을 보여주지 못한 경향적 영화소설 , 활자매체인 문학과 시각매체인 영화의 결합으로 시각적으로 보는 읽을거리와 대중들이 선호하던 통속적인 연애담이 주를 이루었던 대중적 영화소설, 영화로 상영되었던 작품을 소설로 형상화한 번안영화소설 등이 있다 .한편, 영화소설은 새롭게 등장한 영화라는 장르와 결합하면서 다양한 대중문화적 접합의 지점을 보여주고 있다는 점에서도 새롭게 연구할 가치가 있다고 보인다 .
Abstract
A Study on Cinenovels of Colonial Period; Kang, Ok-HiIn discussions that were made about cinenovels until now, cinenovels were seen mostly as a transition between scenarios and novels. Recently, cinenovels were discussed inclusively but an aproach as an whole has not ben made yet. Therefore, this study wil unearth and categorize left out cinenovels and wil observe as a whole in order to see the vogue of each timeline.Throughout the late 1920s, the interest of the general public rapidly changed to a new genre called motion picture. Especially after the tremendous succes in 1926 of <Arirang> by Na Won-Kyu, motion picture substituted the Sinpa as a public entertainment. This kind of change affected literature as well and also created a new distinct genre, cinenovel, in order to substitute the visual impact of motion picture. cinenovels pulled in the audience who were amicable with motion picture as readers and also became a genre for novel readers to get in touch with movies.From the origin of cinenovels to the end, cinenovels existed in various subjects and forms, and can be divided in thre; tendancy cinenovel, popular cinenovel with movie like techniques added and adapted cinenovel. Such studies show that cinenovel during the colonial era are not transitional and are a distinct form in literature having their own forms and various 식민지 시기 영화소설 연구 213spectrums
