2004년 대통령 탄핵사건은 국가적으로 중대한 사건이었고 영향력 또한 광범위했다. 이 사건에서 기록으로서 남겨져야 할 범주는 곧 사건이 존재하는 내·외적 영향력의 범주와 일치할 것이다. 사건 기록화에 있어 중요한 점은 사건에 관한 다양한 관점들이 포함될 수 있도록 기록화 범주를 확정하고 사건 관련 주제들의 기록들이 충분히 확보되도록 하는 것이다. 본 연구는 2004년 대통령 탄핵사건과 관련하여 개설되어 운영되었던 인터넷 카페 기록이 탄핵 사건에서 가지는 의미를 고찰하려는 목적을 가진다. 이를 위해 탄핵의 국면에서 인터넷 카페의 활동과 그 과정에서 생산된 기록의 현황을 살펴보고자 한다. 탄핵사건과 관련된 기록화 범주 중의 하나로서 인터넷 카페 기록이 이 사건과 관련된 무엇을 보여주는지를 살펴보는 것은 탄핵사건의 본질이 무엇이고 무엇을 기록해야 하는가 라는 질문에 대한 또 하나의 답을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The impeachment of the president in 2004 was a major national event with board influnces. The categories that should be recorded in the event will match the categories of internal and external influences where the event is present. In the documentation of an event, it is important to define the category of documentation of an event, it is important to define the category of documentation to include various perspectives to look at the event and secure enough records about the subjects involved in the event. The purpose of this study was to investigate the meanings of the records left by an Internet cafe, which was opend and operated in relation to the impeachment of the president in 2004, in the impeachment event. For this purpose, the study examined the activites of the Internet cafe under the situation of the impeachment and the current state of the records produced by the Internet cafe in the process. It also examined what was revealed in relation to the event by the records of the Internet cafe as a category of documentation related to the impeachment event, and such and effort will help to give another answer to questions about the nature of the event and what should be recorded.
