우계 성혼의 실학 정신에 관한 고찰

이 논문의 목표는 16세기 대표적 성리학자 중 한 사람인 우계(牛溪) 성혼(成渾)과 관련된 기존 연구 중에서, 우계의 사상이 성리학(性理學)뿐 아니라 실학(實學) 정신도 포함한다는 주장에 동의하면서, 이와 관련하여 또 다른 관점과 방법을 보탬으로써, 개혁가요 실학 정신이 충만한 사상가로서 우계를 조명하는 데 있다. 우계와 실학을 연계한 연구가 소수의 논문에 불과한 것은 우계에게, 율곡(栗谷)의, 『동호문답(東湖問答)』이나, 『만언봉사(萬言封事)』와 같은, 개혁론과 경세론을 적극적으로 피력한 저술이 없기 때문일 것이다. 그러나 그가 선조에게 올린 「시무편의(時務便宜) 15條」 등 장소(章疏)에 보이는 시무론⋅개혁론을 유의미하게 분석한 연구가 적거나, 연구자들의 관심이 집중되지 않는 것도 하나의 요인이기도 하다. 이 논문은 이런 문제점을 극복하기 위해, 기존의 연구를 정리하는 한편, 우계의 성리학 사상에서 현실성, 현장성, 주체성 등의 특성을 논의하고자 한다.
Abstract
The goal of this thesis is to agree with the argument that Woogye's thoughts include not only Neo-Confucianism but also the spirit of Silhak among the existing studies related to Woogye Seong-hon, one of the representative Neo-Confucian scholars in the 16th century, by adding another perspective and method in this regard, It is to illuminate Woogye as a reformer and a thinker full of the spirit of Silhak. The reason why there are only a handful of studies linking Woogye and Silhak is probably because there are no writings by Yugye that actively express the theory of reform and governance, such as Yulgok's Donghomundap or Maneonbongsa. However, one of the factors is that there are few studies that have significantly analyzed the theory of reform and the theory of reform that can be seen in places such as 「15 posts of Simu convenience(時務便宜)」 posted by him to King Seonjo, or that researchers are not paying attention. . In order to overcome these problems, this thesis aims to discuss the characteristics of reality, realism, subjectivity, etc. in Woogye's Neo-Confucian thought, while arranging existing studies.
