Abstract

This paper empirically discusses the relationship between Korean literature and Korean humanities in Japan based on 『Hanyang』, a comprehensive literary magazine in Japan published in the 1960s and 1980s. And since the 1960s, the goal is to carry out the basic arrangement of the history of Korean literature by expanding the demarcation of the history of Korean literature and the history of Korean Japanese. First of all, the overall data on the literary works published in 『Hanyang』, a comprehensive literary magazine in Japan in the 1960s and 1980s, were organized. In addition, I focused on understanding the aspects of negotiations with Korean literature in the 1960s and 1980s, and studying the influence of Korean humanities in Japan in the 1960s and 1980s in comparative literature based on these results. First, the major works and writers of Korean Japanese literature published in 『Hanyang』 were classified into poetry, novel, criticism, and prose, and roughly estimated statistical data were organized. In addition, a brief discussion was conducted on the main writers of each genre and the characteristics of each genre. Second, the influence of 『Hanyang』 and the literature of Korean residents in Japan in the 1960s and 1980s was divided into poetry, novels, and criticism, and discussed focusing on the subject and the world of individual writers' works. In the case of poetry, the ambivalent perception of the motherland and the realization of national identity as a Korean Japanese were shown. In the case of novels, the awareness of the existence and life of Zainichi and the improvement of direction for Korea's subjective modernization were clear. And in the case of criticism, the subjective perception of tradition and the logic of participatory literature were the main contents. Until now, research on 『Hanyang』 has been centered on genre studies such as poetry, novels, and criticism, and the genealogy of critical history. Based on this basic research foundation, the study of 『Hanyang』 needs to be deepened into detailed discussions such as author theory, theme theory, and work theory. The study of 『Hanyang』 from the 1960s to the 1980s is a medium that must be reviewed for the re-recognition and reconstruction of the history of Korean literature since the 1960s. The list of Korean literary works published in Hanyang in the 1960s and 1980s and the general understanding of the influence of Korean humanities in Japan, organized through this study, are important as basic data in carrying out research tasks that expand the scope of Korean literary history. expected to have meaning.
