대통령 담화문의 어휘 사용 양상 연구 -박정희 대통령을 중심으로-

이 연구는 박정희 대통령의 담화문을 중심으로 다른 대통령의 담화문까지 포함한 156건을 대상으로 한국언론진흥재단 빅카인즈의 특성값 어휘를 추출하고, 정책 분야별 유형을 제시하였다. 대통령 담화문 연구를 위해 정치․사회(사건 사고)․경제, 외교․국방, 행정, 과학․문화 분야로 분류하였다. 박정희 정부는 정책 전반에 걸쳐 담화문을 발표하였고, 다른 정부에서는 소수만 발표되었다. 정치 담화문은 한일 협정, 제3공화국 관련, 3선 개헌 등 현대사의 중요한 사건을 다루며, 경제 담화문은 농민 권익 보호와 경제 자립을 강조하였다. 군사 및 안보 관련 담화문은 월남파병과 6․25 전쟁 등을 통해 자주국방의 중요성을 주장했고, 외교 담화문은 미․북 관계의 중요성을 재확인하고 있다. 또한, 과학 및 문화 관련 담화문은 과학 기술 발전과 한글날의 중요성을 강조하며, 사회적 책임을 부각시켰다. 대통령 담화문은 국내외 상황에 따라 핵심 가치를 드러내는 어휘 특성을 보여주는 것으로 대통령 연설문 연구의 확장에 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
This study focuses on the speeches of President Park Chung-hee while also encompassing a total of 156 speeches from other presidents. Keywords using the Korea Press Foundation’s BigKinds characteristic value extraction. The aim was to identify and understand these core terms. Keywords were automatically derived using algorithms that extract characteristic values, and the analysis was conducted by policy area. The Park Chung-hee administration issued discourse statements across a wide range of policies, while other administrations published only a few. Political addresses covered significant events in modern history such as the Korea-Japan Treaty, the Third Republic, and the three-term amendment, while economic addresses emphasized the protection of farmers’ rights and economic self-reliance. Addresses related to the military and security emphasized the importance of self-reliant defense through issues such as the Vietnam War and the Korean War. Diplomatic addresses reaffirmed the importance of US-North Korea relations. Furthermore, addresses related to science and culture highlighted the importance of scientific and technological development and Hangul Day, emphasizing social responsibility. Presidential addresses, particularly those in the form of transcripts, exhibit word characteristics that reveal core values according to domestic and international circumstances, contributing to the expansion of presidential speech research.
