본 보고서는 피의자가 사망보험금을 노리고 피해자의 신체에 니코틴을 주사하여 살해한 사건에 관한 것이다. 액상 전자담배의 경우 유해성이 높으나 일반인들이 손쉽게 이를 구입할 수 있어 모방범죄가 발생할 여지가 높기 때문에 향후 유사 사건 발생 시 본 사건의 문제점 및 수사사항을 참고할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 외국에서 발생한 내국인의 살인사건의 경우 현장 확인 및 협조수사 과정이 복잡하여 수사에 난항을 겪을 수 있어 국가 간 협조수사를 위한 개선이 필요하다.
Abstract
This report is about the murder case by injecting nicotine into the victim's body in pursuit of a death insurance benefit. The suspect used a new type of killing technique that injected nicotine into the body. Liquid e-cigarette is highly harmful, but since it is readily available to the general public, copycat crimes are highly likely to occur. Problems and investigations in this case may be referred to in case of similar cases in the future. In addition, for murders committed by Koreans outside the country, the investigation may be difficult due to the complicated process of site identification and investigation. An improvement is needed for the international cooperative investigation.
