본 연구에서는 날로 심각한 사회문제로 떠오르고 있는 악성댓글 작성에 영향을 미치는 심리적, 사회적 요인을살펴보았다. 그 결과, 우선 악성댓글 작성에 과민성 자기애 및 불관용, 성별이 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 과민성자기애가 강할수록, 불관용 수준이 높을수록 악성댓글을 더 많이 작성하였으며, 여성보다 남성이 악성댓글 작성을 더많이 하였다. 또한 과민성 자기애와 악성댓글 작성 사이에서 적대감과 불관용의 순차매개효과가 유의하였다. 즉, 과민성자기애가 강할수록 적대감이 더 높았고, 적대감이 더 높을수록 불관용 수준이 높았으며, 불관용이 높을수록 악성댓글을더 많이 작성하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 악성댓글 수사 및 예방에 관한 실용적 함의에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
The study explored psychosocial factors affecting malicious online comments posting. The results showed that malicious online comments posting were affected by hypersensitive narcissism, interpersonal intolerance, and gender. In other words, the stronger the hypersensitive narcissism, the more likely to post malicious comments online. Also, the higher the level of interpersonal intolerance, the more likely to post malicious comments online. Men were more likely to post malicious comments online than women. The sequential mediation effect of hostility and interpersonal intolerance was significant between hypersensitive narcissism and malicious online comments posting. The stronger the hypersensitive narcissism, the higher the hostility, the higher the level of interpersonal intolerance, and the more likely to post malicious comments online. Practical implications on the investigation and prevention of malicious online comments posting were discussed.
