자살유가족의 가족기능성 회복을 위한 가족미술치료 단일사례연구

본 연구는 외상을 경험한 모자가족을 대상으로 가족미술치료를 실시하여 가족기능성을 회복하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 A시에 거주하는 모자가정의 형제(12세, 15세)와 그 어머니이며, 가족미술치료는 주 1회 90∼120분씩 총 20회기 실시하였다. 연구도구는 모-자녀 의사소통 척도와 가족체계진단, 동적가족화 검사로 사전·사후에 실시하여 비교 분석하였다. 가족기능성 변화과정은 미술작품, 회기과정의 녹취록, 비언어적 표현에 대한 상담일지 등으로 초이론적 모델에 근거하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모-자녀 의사소통 척도 검사에서 점수가 증가하였으며, 가족체계진단 평가와 동적가족화에서도 가족의 정서적 교류 및 상호작용이 긍정적으로 변화되었다. 둘째, 초이론적 모델을 통해 분석한 결과 전인식단계에서는 서로 상대에게 책임을 전가하고 치료를 거부하는 양상이 나타났으며, 가족(남편/아빠)의 죽음에 대해 금기시되어왔다. 인식단계에서는 가족(남편/아빠)의 자살에 대해 노출하고 애도작업을 거치면서 가족치료를 수용하게 되었다. 준비단계에서는 변화를 위해 새로운 방법을 시도하면서 성공과 실패를 반복하였다. 이를 기반으로 행동단계에서는 자신이 할 수 있는 것을 실천해나가면서 가족 간의 친밀성과 상호소통에 긍정적 변화가 나타났고 자신의 꿈을 찾아나갔다. 따라서 가족미술치료가 외상을 경험한 모자가족의 가족기능성 회복에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to restore family functioning by conducting family art therapy for mother and sons family who have experienced trauma. Research participants are a mother and two sons (age 12 and 15) residing in A City. There were a total of 20 sessions once a week and a session took 90 to 120 minutes. Research instruments were analyzed by comparing the results of the pre-post-test of Parent-Adolescent Communication (PAC) Scale, Family System Diagnosis Scale (FSDS) and KFD (Kinetic Family Drawing). The family functional change process was analyzed based on a Transtheoretical Model (TTM), including works of art, transcripts of the session process, and counseling logs on nonverbal expressions. The results of this study are as follows: First, PAC test showed an increase in scores. The FSDS and KFD revealed a positive change in the family's emotional exchange and mutual communication. Second, as a result of analysis through the TTM, in the pre-recognition stage, the family refused the therapy with each family member shifting one’s responsibility to other family members. The death of the family member (husband/father) has been taboo but in the recognition stage, through processes of exposing the suicide of the family member and mourning about it, the family accepted the therapy. In the preparation stage, while trying new methods for change, he repeated successes and failures. Based on this, participants showed positive changes in intimacy and communication between family members in the action stage by practicing what they can do, and started to search for one’s dream. In conclusion, family art therapy showed positive effects on the restoring the family functioning of participants who with experienced trauma.
