Abstract

Literary works can express everything. It checks again some values fixed as the concepts for human beings. So it is said the literary works can go toward the high value. “The story of the bug” written by Lee, Chung-Joon is a story dealing with some people who are the poor creatures in front of God. In the story, people with self-centered mind try to get over their limitation, but not succeed. The story shows some people who tries to forgive a murderer who killed his son, and who tries to be forgiven by its victims. The object of forgiveness is the offender, neither a tree nor a flower. Forgiveness is an humanistic deed, so it is not easy. Generally it is not easy for the human being to forgive its enemy or to be forgiven by the victims. To make this perfect, to understand others is a needed course. And as a precondition, repentance and regret by the offender should be appeared first. Without them, consolation can not be made for them.
