업종별 중소기업-근로자 간 성과공유제의 노동소득분배율 효과 분석: 성향점수 매칭 분석을 중심으로

국내 다수의 중소기업은 기업과 근로자의 관점을 조화롭게 수용하고 조정하기 위해 성과공유제도를 도입하고 있다. 최근 성과공유제 연구도 해당 제도가 왜 중요한지, 어떤 조건일 때 성과공유제도가 더욱 효과적일 수 있는지에 대해 관심을 기울이고 있다. 이 점을 감안, 본 연구는 아직까지 학문적으로 연구되지 않았지만 현 시점에서 연구가 필요한 근로자의 노동소득분배율에 관해 중소기업과 근로자 간의 성과공유제도및 업종이 어떤 영향을 미치는지 분석하고자 한다. 성향점수 매칭방법을 활용하여 분석한 결과, 성과공유제도를 도입한 중소기업은 비성과공유제도 중소기업에 비해 더높은 노동소득분배율을 보이는 것으로 나타났으며 산업(업종) 유형에 따라 노동소득분배율의 차이가 존재하는 점도 확인할 수 있었다. 준실험연구를 토대로 정밀하게 연구결과를 도출한 본 연구는 중소기업과 근로자 간 성과공유제도가 근로자의 노동소득분배율에 관해 의미 있는 영향력을 발휘한다는 관점을 제공하였으며 정책적으로는 중소기업의 성과공유제도 및 산업(업종) 유형에 따라 정책 입안자들이 근로자의 노동소득분배 지원 제도를 더욱 정교하게 설계해야 함을 제안하였다.
Abstract
Many SMEs require performance sharing system and the capability to reconcile demands between corporations and employees. Recent studies have examined why performance sharing system is important and the conditions under which it can be done more effectively. We extended the timely, but understudied, research by analyzing the performance sharing system and industry type on labor income share. Using the propensity scoring matching approach, we found that performance sharing SMEs significantly greater labor income share than non-performance sharing SMEs. Also, we found systematic labor income share difference by industry types. In conclusion, our quasi-experimental study contributes to a view of performance sharing system as a meaningful influence on income share of labor. Therefore, we suggest that policy-makers build policies that support the labor income share on the basis of SMEs’ performance sharing system and industry types.
