Abstract

This study was to explain current trend about physical and mental effects of exercise for menopausal women. Much researches suggested that exercise plays a great role in treating obesity, increasing bone density and preventing bone loss, decreasing cardiovascular diseases and improving blood lipid. They also reported the exercise can reduce a woman's depression and increase an ability of perception. Especially, bone mineral density is significantly improved by long term and intensive exercise for each part. For menopausal women, enhancing activity a day such as fast walking is very important for their healths.
