Abstract
The survey was conducted for those who have visited the marine area of Jeju Island in the last three years. Convenience sampling was conducted and 230 questionnaires were analyzed after data cleaning. SPSS and AMOS software were used to conduct frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation modeling to analyze the collected data. The results of the study are as follows. First, attitude and perceived behavioral control did not have a significant effect on the intention of safety behavior. Second, subjective norms and marin sports safety knowledge were found to affect the safety behavior of beach users in Jeju Island. Therefore, safety awareness education such as basic knowledge of the ocean and first aid education will be necessary for the safety behavior of beach users in Jeju Island.
