Abstract

In this study, we prove the effects of stem cell transplantation and motor rehabilitation on brain injury produced by application of middle cerebral artery occlusion. We found that stem cell transplantation is associated with suppression of cavity formation and improvement of motor function. In contrast, the control animals remained severely showed hitological impairment and functional deterioration throughout artery occlusion. Therefore, we suggest the correlation between neurological regeneration and motor rehabilitation through stem cell transplantation in the experimental group.
