Recently, mobile phone data obtained from the development of Internet & Telecommunication Technologies is widely used in the field of transportation research. One of the potential use of mobile phone data will be an analysis of spatial-temporal people movement in a city which was not able to obtain from the static data such as travel survey. This study discuses how to use the mobile phone data for analyzing of urban railway line efficiencies. To understand real travel pattern based on mobile phone data will be critical for address travel demand issues of existing urban railway, and useful for a decision of route planning as well.
