코로나19 펜데믹으로 인해 서울도시철도의 수송실적 및 열차 운행이 감소하였으며, 사회적 거리두기 방침에 따라 열차 내 혼잡도에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교통카드 데이터 및 열차 운행 실적 자료를 활용하여 열차의 혼잡도 변화 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 전반적으로 22시 이후의 야간시간대를 포함하여 2019년 대비 2020년의 혼잡도는 감소한 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 일부 시간대에는 COVID-19 상황을 고려하였을 때 혼잡도가 높은 구간이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 향후 열차 운행 계획 조정 및 열차 내 혼잡도 제공 서비스등을 통한 혼잡도 분산 방안 마련에 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the transportation performance and train operation of Seoul Metro have decreased, and interest in train congestion is increasing in accordance with the social distancing policy. Therefore, in this study, data on traffic card data and train operation performance data were used to analyze changes in train congestion. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that the congestion level in 2020 compared to 2019, including the night time period after 22:00, decreased overall. Therefore, it is expected that the results of this study will be able to be utilized in preparing a congestion level distribution plan, such as a congestion level service in trains in the future.
