I discovered that the novels of Kim Seong-Han frequently focused on the fact that human beings have limits only because they are human beings. So I tried to reveal the aspects of that subject. For the convenience of discussion, I proposed the terms like 'human hangyeseong' meaning ‘the native limits belonging to the category of human beings' and 'the consciousness of the human hangyeseong'. Kim Seong-Han identifies the limits of human intelligence and the tragedy of human desire seeking power and the reality of reversed value of good and evil. Those are 'human hangyeseong' impossible for human beings to overcome as long as they belong to the human category. In order to escape from these human limitations, they have to destroy the category of human beings. Human intelligence is the process of manipulation of mind originated from the wish to establish orders, but can not reach the ultimate idea. The pursuit of power originated from the narcissism is the cause of ugly power struggle and unfair hierarchy. In addition, the reversed value of good and evil is also the limit of the human beings.
