외국인 직접투자 결정요인 분석: 아세안·남아시아·중앙아시아 비교

본 연구는 아시아 24개국을 아세안, 남아시아, 중앙아시아 3개 그룹으로 구분하여, 그룹별 국가에 영향을 주는 FDI 결정적 요인들을 분석하였 다. 1993∼2016년 기간의 패널자료를 가지고 GDP, Trade, ODA, 부가가 치(Industrial value added), 사회기반시설(INFRA), 노동 가능한 인구 (Labor), 인플레이션(Inflation)등의 연구모형을 구축하였다. 분석결과 아세안국가들의 FDI 유입에 영향을 준 요인들은 경제성장률, 교역량, 노동인구이며, 남아시아, 중앙아시아 국가들의 FDI 유입에 영향을 준 요인들은 ODA, 교역량, 노동인구, 낮은 물가로 나타났다. 세 그룹을 비교한 결과 아세안국가들은 경제성장률이 높을수록 FDI유입에 영향을 준 것으로 분석된 반면 남아시아, 중앙아시아 국가들은 해외원조와 노동인구 증가로 인해 FDI유입에 많은 영향을 준 것으로 분석되었다.
Abstract
This paper using panel data from 24 countries, there countries in three continents (ASEAN, South Asia, Central Asia) strives to identify the factors that determine FDI inflow to the developing countries. This study 1993-2016 period panel data the model was constructed to have GDP growth, Trade, ODA, Industry value added ratio, infrastructure, labor force and including variables such as inflation. We used the estimation method as panel OLS, Fixed effect and Random effect, verified the appropriateness to the research model to conduct a Hausman test. The analysis shows that the economic growth rate has a great influence only on the ASEAN countries. And trade or the labor force was a great influence on FDI inducement. ODA, trade, and labor forces were more affected by FDI inflows in South Asia and Central Asian countries.
