스낵컬처 영상에 관한 연구: 72초 대표 웹드라마를 중심으로

Abstract

With the development of Internet network systems and mobile devices, modern people focus on consuming contents in permanent, selectively small and fast format, overcoming conventional time and space constraints such as cinemas and theatres. Therefore, the characteristics of modern culture are represented by snack culture that can be consumed anytime and anywhere easily and rapidly. Webtoon, web drama and web novel are representative snack culture contents. However it's not good enough to explain that the reason for the popularity of these contents is because of high penetration of the internet and smart phones. Therefore, this study looked into the fundamental cause of a consumption way and contents called snack culture through Paul Virilio's Speed Theory at least fragmentarily. And, it also analyzed the characteristics of smaller format through ‘72 Seconds’ Production Company's mini web dramas with very short running time of less than 4 minutes because an extremely shortened format is video.
