The psychological meaning and theological meaning of addiction as well as the causes of addiction were examined for healing addiction. This paper was written with an emphasis on the spiritual aspect of addiction as a holistic healing of addiction is possible only when the spiritual aspect of humans is considered with an understanding of the psychological and social elements of addiction. First, the nature of addiction was examined and then the meaning and causes of addiction were discussed. In addition, an endeavor was made to compose a wholistic internet addiction intervention program that includes the spiritual approach of addiction. This aspect is the objective of this study. A spiritual christian counseling intervention of addiction includes christian understanding of self and self understood by practice of counseling. This point of view is special in this paper.
