서울시 청년여성 1인가구의 일상생활 불안감에 미치는 영향요인 분석: 사회적 관계망과 주거특성을 중심으로

본 연구는 세대별 1인가구 중 안전에 가장 민감하고 취약한 집단으로 분류되는 청년여성 1인가구를 대상으로 일상생활에서의 불안감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 특히 일상생활 불안감에 영향을 주는 여러 환경적 요인 중에서도 사회적 관계망과 주거특성에 주목하였으며, 사회적 관계망은 혈연관계인 부모, 형제･자매뿐만 아니라 비혈연관계인 친구와의 관계망까지도 포함하였다. 이를 측정함에 있어서 양적인 측면으로는 직･간접 만남빈도를, 질적인 측면은 위해 고민상담이 가능한 친구의 수를 활용하였다. 주거특성으로는 주거형태와 더불어 주거지의 층수를 고려하였고, 인구학적 특성과 함께 안전교육 경험여부, 신체적 건강상태, 1인가구로서의 만족도 등의 요인도 모형에 투입하였다. 이를 위해 2016년 실시된 서울시 청년여성 1인가구 실태조사 횡단면 자료를 활용하여 순위형 로짓분석 및 한계효과를 추정하였다. 그 결과, 부모, 친구와의 직･간접만남과 고민상담 가능한 친구의 수가 증가할수록 일상생활에서의 불안감은 감소하였다. 반면, 주거형태는 통계적 유의성이 없었으나 주거지의 층수가 높아질수록 일상생활에서의 불안감은 낮아지는 결과를 보였다. 그리고 안전교육 경험이 있고, 신체적 건강활동 빈도 및 1인가구로서의 생활만족도가 높을수록 불안감을 낮추는 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 외부로부터의 침입이 용이한 주거환경을 지닌 청년여성 1인가구의 우선적 안전지원 필요성과 사회적 관계망 지원 프로그램의 마련 및 확충, 기존 사회적 관계망의 질적 향상지원, 신체건강 자조모임 지원을 제언하였다.
Abstract
The study analyzed the factors that influence on anxiety in daily life, by targeting young single-female household, classified as the group who are sensitive and vulnerable to safety among various single-person households. Particularly, I focused on the social network and the residential characteristics out of many environmental factors that influence on anxiety in daily life. In the study, the social network includes non-blood relationship such as friends as well as blood relationship such as parents or siblings. To measure it, I used the frequency of direct/indirect meeting in terms of quantity and the number of friends able to offer a counsel of trouble in terms of quality. In terms of the residential characteristics, I considered the type and the number of stories of residence and also added the factors – demographic characteristics, safety education(experienced or not), physical health status, and satisfaction as one-person household – on the model. For the process, I used the cross-section data from ‘Research on the Status of Young Single-Female’ by Seoul City on 2016, analyzed ordered logit model, and estimated the marginal effect. The result showed that as the frequency of direct/indirect meeting with parents or friends and the number of friends able to offer a counsel of trouble increased, anxiety in daily life decreased. Although there was no statistical significance in the type of residence, the result showed that as the number of stories in residence went higher, anxiety in daily life decreased. I also found several factors that decreased anxiety – experience in safety education, high frequency of physical activity, and high satisfaction as a single-person household. Based on the result, the study suggested the necessity of preferential safety support for young single-female household with the residential environment, easy to be invaded by outsiders, preparation and expansion of the support program for the social network, supporting to strengthen the existing social networks, and supporting the self-help groups for improving the physical health.
