Abstract
This article aims to inform readers about recent developments in criminal justice and juvenile law in Japan. It discusses the enactment of the Unification of Imprisonment System and the revision of the Juvenile Law, as well as various the circumstances surrounding juvenile delinquency. We hope the article will promote academic exchanges between the two countries and be useful for discussions in Korea on the same topic.
