한국에서의 스페인 연구콘텐츠 60년사 고찰

Abstract

This article tries to shed light on the history of the investigations about Spain in Korea for about 60 years. With this objective we elaborated a data base of references that includes all books, articles, theses on Spain published in Korea from 1945 until 2007. We analyzed the tendency of the studies about Spain in Korea. The sum of the studies made in Korea during that period became 3.072 units, among which, books are 1.131 (36,82%), theses, 612 (19,92%) and articles, 1.329 (43,26%). At the beginning stage the majority of texts about Spain in Korea are centered in language text books and policy reports. Until 1980’s the number of theses is larger than journal articles but in 1990’s articles in journals became main stream in investigation. In respect to field of study, literature occupied the highest percentage and culture/society, linguistics and education/language learning in order. A remarkable peculiarity in the result of analysis is that some historical issues in Spain and Korea have stimulated investigations about Spain in Korea and recently a large number of studies on Spanish Culture and Society were published by non Spanish speaking researchers. In conclusion, for 60 years the investigations about Spain in Korea drastically increased in quantity but intermittently in some limited fields.
