초록
In Real Inspector Hound, Stoppard constructs the real world of the spectator-actor and the play-world parodying Mousetrap. As Moon and Birdboot as the fictional spectators intrude upon the inner play, the distinction between reality and illusion becomes obscure. In addition to the device of the play within the play, the realities of the inner play and the outer play are staged through not mimetic representation but diegetic representation. These strategies are selected to disturb our fixed perceptions of the real and the fictional.
Abstract
In Real Inspector Hound, Stoppard constructs the real world of the spectator-actor and the play-world parodying Mousetrap. As Moon and Birdboot as the fictional spectators intrude upon the inner play, the distinction between reality and illusion becomes obscure. In addition to the device of the play within the play, the realities of the inner play and the outer play are staged through not mimetic representation but diegetic representation. These strategies are selected to disturb our fixed perceptions of the real and the fictional.
