Abstract
The Content Summary:By the comparison of Taiwan's novel <Two Painters> and its Korea film adaptation <Qilsu and Wansu> , the paper mainly analyses and researches the difference of the theme and characteristic appearance between them, appeals the reason for these difference. The novel criticized social oppression and discrimination to the off-farm workers by the capital society, promulgated the survival difficult situation, without knowing where to begin, how to communicate. The background of the film was in Korea, confronted between North and South Korea. The film revealed the political sacrificial victim's miserable destiny. It carried on the reconsideration to the anti-communism coercive policy and the social injustice, called for social transformation.
