공동체 담론을 통해 본 공동체 예술의 사회적 의미

Abstract

New form of economic activity exploiting surplus resources derived from a process of development of digital information and communication technology strengthens not only understanding of sharing economy for a coexistent society, but also a critical mind regarding how we utilize and share surplus resources. And cooperative economic relations (demanding and offering service) between interested parties encourage social enterprise’s activities based on communities, and economic activities of the private sector toward ‘collaborative commons’. In the past of the capitalistic society, commons discourse was had built on a basis of understanding a concept of ‘private’ and ‘public’. However, after rearing up ‘the end of the art’, it became a socio-economic discourse beyond boundaries in either private sphere or public sphere. And art attempted to transform its identity around the themes of the recovering relationship with the composition of society, while a dichotomous concept between ‘the private’ and ‘the public’ was in a process of disintegration. Such transformation is represented by Nicholas Bourriaud’s book, ‘Relational Aesthetics’, that was actively debated in 1990s. With the themes creative agents in the contemporary art try to put forth a great effort on establishing a network shared and communicated with people Creative activities of the art with priority given to the relationship develop on a basis of recognition of commons in terms of a societal perspective.
