After enduring the suffering of the Japanese rule, Jeong jomun and the three pieces of Goryeo celadon housed in Kyoto Museum are a good example to examine the attitude of the Koreans to cope with the foreign power. The cultural factors of Yuan are found in the inlaid celadon manufactured in Goryeo, the 14th century. The particular shape and pattern in inlaid celadon are the evidence for the influence of Yuan ceramics. Goryeo enjoyed its own celadon culture after Goryeo had accepted inlaid celadon from China in later 10th century, the adaptation of existing inlaid celadon was enough to accommodate the demand for celadon which reflected the Yuan style.
