이 연구는 북한의 전자도서관 관련 동향을 살펴보고, 향후 남북한 도서관계의 협력 가능성을 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 먼저, 북한의 인터넷 환경과 원격 교육, 태블릿 PC를 활용한 전자도서관의 기능을 조사하였다. 다음은 보다 직접적으로, 북한이 대외적으로 자랑하고 있는 과학기술전당, 김책공업대학, 김일성종합대학, 인민대학습당 등에 속해 있는 전자도서관의 현황과 특징을 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 북한 전자도서관의 지향성을 살펴보고 그 기술적 한계를 극복하기위한 방법으로써 남북한 도서관 간의 협력 가능성을 다양한 측면에서 검토하였다. 향후 남북한 도서관의 정보기술교류는 남북관계의 발전에 따라 그 방향과깊이가 결정되겠지만 우선 기존에 했던 사업, 또는 협의 중에 있던 사업, 그리고 우리 자체로 준비해야 하는 사업에 초점을 맞추어 계획하고 시행해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study considers the trend of ‘Digital Library’ in North-Korea and the possibility of cooperation between the South and North Korea’s library system. For this, the study looks into the function of ‘Digital Library’ that is utilized by the North Korea’s Internet-Use environment, tele-education technology, and tablet PC. Secondly, the study analyzes the status and features of the North Korea’s ‘Digital Library’ that is in the ‘Science and Technology Hall’, ‘Kim-Chaek University of Technology’, ‘Kim IL Sung University’, and ‘Grand people’s Study House’, which the North Korea is most proud of to the world. Lastly, this study researches the directivity of the North Korea’s ‘Digital Library’ and examines in the various angles a possibility of cooperation between the South and North Korea’s library system to overcome the technological limitations. Although the direction and depth of the future Information-Technology Exchange between the South-North Korea’s library should be decided by the development of the South-North Korea’s relationship, for now, the business that was progressed, the business that was discussed, and the business that should be prepared by ourselves should be focused and implemented.
