본 논문은 칸트가 1786년에 내놓은 자연과학의 형이상학적 기초원리에서전개된 특수 자연형이상학과 물질개념에 대한 연구이다. 칸트는 여기서 자연과학을 위한 형이상학적 기초원리를 제공할 수 있다고 믿었다. 우리는 그의 의도가 성공적으로 실현됐는지를 특히 이 저작의 두 번째 장인 동역학을 중심으로살펴볼 것이다. 이를 위해 뉴턴의 수학적 자연과학과의 밀접한 관계, 물질의 근본힘에 대한 규정, 척력과 인력이라는 동력들의 결합에 의한 물질개념의 정립등을 논의할 것이다. 그 결과 칸트 자연 형이상학의 한계와 기여가 무엇인지 구체적으로 나타나는 것을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This paper is a study of special natural metaphysics and material concepts developed in Metaphysical Foundations of Natural Science, which Kant put forward in 1786. Kant believed that he could here provide metaphysical foundations for natural science. We will look particularly at the second chapter of this work, Dynamics, to see if his intentions have been successfully realized. To this end, we will discuss its relationship with the Newton's mathematical natural sciences, the regulation of the fundamental forces of matter, and the establishment of the concept of matter by combining the forces of repulsion and attraction. As a result, we can expect to specifically show what the limitations and contributions of Kant natural metaphysics are.
