학술용어로서 산업혁명과 4차산업혁명의 사용 양상과 관련 키워드 분석

이 연구에서는 학계에서 4차산업혁명을 사용하고 있는 양상을 조사하고자국내외 학술분야에서 산업혁명과 4차산업혁명이라는 용어를 소비하고 있는 현황을 분석한 후 4차산업혁명과 연관된 동시출현 용어를 분석하였다. 분석 결과4차산업혁명은 해외와 비교해서 국내 학계에서 사용하는 빈도가 급격히 증가하고 있는 것으로 분석되었고 사용 분야도 해외에서는 특정 주제분야로 제한되는반면, 국내에서는 전 분야에 걸쳐서 주로 분야별 교육을 논할 때 사용되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 국내에서만 나타나는 4차산업혁명에 대한 과열 소비현상이라고 해석될 수 있어 이에 대한 심층적 고찰이 필요한 것으로 제언한다.
Abstract
The 4th industrial revolution is a popular topic to illustrate future society and it frequently appears in mass media and publications. This study aims to investigate the use of the words ‘industrial revolution’ and ‘the 4th industrial revolution’ in the academic publications of Korea and international community. As a result, the use of ‘the 4th industrial revolution’ in Korea has increased drastically as compared with international scholarly community. In Korea, almost all disciplines are using the word ‘the 4th industrial revolution unlike the international scholarly community. Especially, the 4th industrial revolution is often discussed in the aspect of education in many disciplines in Korea. The excessive use of the word ’the 4th industrial revolution’ in Korea can be interpreted as a kind of social trend. The further analysis needs to be followed in the various aspects of this trend.
