· 연구 주제: 한국 의류제품 및 의류부속품의 미국 수출전략에 관한 연구를 하고자 한다. · 연구 배경: 「의류제품 및 의류부속품」의 대미 수출에 관한 실증분석에 의하면, 이 부문의 수출은 원/달러 환율, 한국의 이 부문에 대한 대 중국 수출 및 대 일본 수출의 증가와 더불어 증가하고, 중국의 대미 수출의 증가에 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. · 선행연구와의 차이점: 최근 한국의 「의류제품 및 의류부속품」 수출 가운데 대미수출이 점유하는 비중은 감소하였다. 생산의 후방연쇄효과, 취업유발계수, 부가가치유발계수 등을 감안할 때, 실업과 소득불균형의 심화를 완화하는 데 효과적으로 분석되는 이 부문에 대한 생산활동의 강화는 필요하다고 할 수 있다. · 연구방법: 기존의 수출 결정요인들을 고려하여 「의류제품 및 의류부속품」의 미국에 대한 수출 결정요인으로, 미 달러에 대한 환율, 및 의류제품‧의류부속품의 수출단가지수, 생산자물가지수, 한국의 중국에 대한 수출, 한국의 일본에 대한 수출, 중국의 미국에 대한 수출, 일본의 미국에 대한 수출 등을 상정하였다. · 연구결과: 특히 규모면에서 중국의 대미수출이 한국의 대미수출의 감소에 큰 규모로 작용하여, 이에 대한 대응과 수출 확대를 위한 한국정부의 대책 마련이 요구되고 있다. · 공헌점 및 기대효과: 현재 의류 수출업체의 국제생산 현황을 고찰하여 수출경쟁력 확보를 위한 국제생산조달 형태를 연구하고, 생산 기지 국가를 선택하는데 어떠한 요인이 고려되고 있는지를 파악하였으며 최적의 국제생산조달 방안을 비교 분석하여 우리나라 의류제품 수출산업의 수출 경쟁력 향상을 위한 전략을 제시하였다.
Abstract
· Research topics: A study on the export strategy to the United States in Korea apparel products and accessories. · Research background:According to an empirical analysis of exports of clothing products and clothing accessories to the United States, exports in this sector increase along with the won/dollar exchange rate, Korea's exports to China and exports to Japan, and China's exports to the United States. · Differences from prior research: Recently, the share of exports of clothing products and clothing accessories in Korea has decreased. Considering the backward linkage effect of production, employment inducement coefficient, and value-added inducement coefficient, it is necessary to strengthen production activities in this sector, which is effectively analyzed to alleviate the deepening of unemployment and income imbalance. · Research method: Considering the existing export determinants, the exchange rate to the US dollar and the export unit index of clothing and clothing components, Korea's export to China, China's export to the US, and Japan's export to the US were assumed · Research results: In particular, in terms of size, China's exports to the U.S. are largely on the decline in Korea's exports to the U.S., requiring the Korean government to prepare measures to respond to this and expand exports. · Contribution points and expected effects: Finally, this study also suggests strategies for the clothing exporters to take competitive advantages.
