노인의 고용상태와 시민참여의 관계에 대한 연구

· 연구 주제: 노인의 고용상태가 노인의 시민참여에 미치는 영향 분석. · 연구 배경: 노인 인구의 급증에 따른 노인의 노동시장 참여 및 시민참여의 중요성에 따른 연구의 필요성. · 선행연구와의 차이점: 노인의 고용상태를 네 가지(근로자, 은퇴자, 실업자, 일한 적 없는 자)로 구분하여 연구한 기존 연구를 기반으로, 근로자 그룹을 다시 정규직과 비정규직으로 구분하여 고용상태별 시민참여에 대해 연구함. · 연구 방법: 2020년 제8차 고령화연구패널조사(KLoSA) 자료를 사용하여 5682명을 대상으로 회귀분석을 실시함. · 연구 결과:: 은퇴 여부가 노인의 시민참여에 유의미한 영향을 주었고, 다른 고용상태(정규직, 비정규직, 실업, 일한 적 없음)는 시민참여와 유의미한 관계를 갖지 않았음. · 공헌점 및 기대효과: 노인의 시민참여에 대한 지원은 고용상태, 소득, 건강, 연령 등을 감안하여 이루어져야 한다는 시사점과 더 다양한 고용상태에 따른 시민참여 연구의 필요성을 제시함.

· Research topics: The effect of employment status on the civic participation of older adults. · Research background: The importance of research examining civic participation of older adults in the labor market, retired, unemployed, and never worked · Differences from prior research: Based on relevant research, the employment status was divided into five categories to study civic participation · Research method: Regression analyses are performed using the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging data. · Research results: Retirement had a significant and positive effect on the civic participation of older adults, while other types of employment were not significantly related to civic participation. · Contribution points and expected effects: This study highlights that the research on the civic participation of older adults should take into account employment status, income, health, and age, and suggests the need for future studies considering more diverse employment status.
