· Research topics: The possibility of introducing blockchain technology in trade transactions, and the limitations and measures for the expected effect and application are studied. · Research background: Blockchain is emerging as an innovative technology that can promote future industries. · Differences from prior research: Blockchain technology was introduced into indirect procedures such as transaction contracts, insurance, and customs clearance. · Research method: A case in which a blockchain-based trade logistics platform is applied was analyzed. · Research results: The problem of blockchain has room for improvement in that it can solve the problem to some extent through the government. However, conflicts of interest require various efforts at the government level. In addition, efficiency should be checked, and abuse prevention is required. · Contribution points and expected effects: In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it provided practical implications for introducing technological innovation into international trade transactions.
