리빙랩 수업의 국제 교류 사례를 통해 본 대학 교육의 국제화 가능성 탐색: 한국, 베트남, 인도네시아 리빙랩 수업 교류를 중심으로

Abstract

· Research topics: This study aims to explore the possibilities and implications of utilizing Living-Labs as a case of international academic exchange in university lectures for educational internationalization. · Research background: While one of the internal factors driving university innovation is 'innovation in teaching methods,' one external factor is 'educational internationalization.' These two are pursued independently under the same principle of reform. This study analyzes cases of international classroom exchange mediated by Living-Lab activities in university lectures to explore ways in which two innovation approaches representing internal and external factors can be linked. · Differences from prior research: Although various factors and approaches to university innovation have been proposed, ways to connect and synergize them have not been sought. This study aims to present new possibilities for educational internationalization through the innovative teaching method of Living-Labs. · Research method: The study analyzes cases of collaborative exchange of Living-Lab courses among universities in South Korea, Vietnam, and Indonesia. · Research results: On one hand, the 'different approaches to the same topic' and 'same approaches to different topics' evident in the solutions to local community problems proposed by students from each country open up a broad perspective on problem-solving by recognizing similarities and differences among countries and regions facing similar issues. On the other hand, international exchange through Living-Labs naturally fosters students' awareness of glocal perspectives and the necessity of problem-solving methods, leading to an expansion of their perception of their major and life. · Contribution points and expected effects: The expansion of perspectives on solutions to local problems and interest in local issues in other countries provide students with intrinsic motivation to understand the importance and significance of international exchange, naturally recognizing their identity as 'global citizens' and driving the necessity and enthusiasm for educational internationalization.
