Abstract
Along with the changes in the corporate environment in China, Korean enterprises are having difficulties maintaining their existence. The purpose of this study is to identify not only the threats regarding the political changes in China but also the labor shortages of professional labor forces. In this study, I visited the Korean corporations in China and conducted surveys to examine how they are suffering from the labor shortage. According to the results, during the last three years, 80% of the companies have suffered from financial and other losses because they failed to recruit professional Chinese labor forces. Regardless of the business types, there were only a few companies that easily recruited professional labor forces. The small and local manufacturing companies were suffering from even more critical labor shortages.
