Abstract
· Research topics: The purpose of this study is to examine changes in the Youth Participation Committee and analyze new attempts to cope with the crisis. · Research background: The Youth Participation Committee is a youth participation organization based on the law. However, various problems surrounding it continue to emerge and changes are essential due to crises such as budget cuts. · Differences from prior research: This study analyzed the current operation and new change attempts with various data, focusing only on the Youth Participation Committee. · Research method: Centered on the Chungcheongnam-do Youth Participation Committee, a case study was attempted using complex data collected through FGI and individual interviews with youth and leaders, related documents, and participatory observations. · Research results: These resulted in 10 subcategories from 4 categories: a decline of participating youth and reduced activity, the response to crisis through additional budget and efficient utilization, the leading participation of Generation ZA youth, policy incubation of an new and complex attempt. · Contribution points and expected effects: It is meaningful in that it explored positive cases of how the youth participation organization. And it will help the government and local governments come up with measures to change.
