Abstract
· Research topics: This study aims to empirically examine the relationships among industrial security policy communication, industrial security policy complexity, and employees’ intention to comply with industrial security policies. · Research method: Data were collected through a survey conducted from March 1 to April 15, 2025, targeting employees of companies that operate industrial security policies. The collected data were analyzed using the STATA statistical package, employing frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling to test the proposed hypotheses. · Research results: The results demonstrate that industrial security policy communication has a significant positive effect on both industrial security policy complexity and employees’ compliance intention. Moreover, policy complexity positively influences compliance intention and mediates the relationship between policy communication and compliance intention. · Contribution points and expected effects: These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms that drive compliance with industrial security policies. The study provides practical insights for organizations seeking to enhance the effectiveness of their security policy operations, offering strategic directions for strengthening overall security capabilities.
