Abstract

Efforts to properly preserve and pass on cultural heritage should be pursued in various directions in order to create public consensus and to popularize and make a living. There is a common spiritual structure or The Cultural Archetypes in the culture of the world, and The Cultural Archetypes is closely related to the mythical element. In this respect, our cultural heritage, the Bangudae Petroglyphs, is like a mirror containing the life of our ancestors. Furthermore, since the paintings of the the Bangudae Petroglyphs have diverse symbolic meanings, its modern recreation is possible in many ways. Nonetheless, there are aspects in which the Archetypes are undermined by the "practicalization" of the mythical values, which are essential elements of the Bangudae petroglyphs. Although the cultural prototypes of the Bangudae petroglyphs were recreated as 'modern practical use', we are not sure what 'why' and 'what' are being modernized or urbanized, and what we are living in today, There is a strong question. Therefore based on the mythological artistry of the Bangudae Petroglyphs, we have presented several practical methods based on the representative forms of the cultural tradition of The Bangudae Petroglyphs. When the identity of a nation originates from the cultural tradition that has been passed down to that nation, The modern utilization of The Bangudae Petroglyphs, world's only cultural heritage will be able to achieve its true fruits if it is focused on succeeding and spreading this cultural tradition.
