가라타니는 지난 세기 말에 코뮤니즘이라는 도덕적·실천적 명령에 부응하기 위해 해체에서 트랜스크리틱으로 칸트적 전회를 단행하였다. 해체와 트랜스크리틱이비판의 전략으로서 갖는 유사성에도 불구하고 둘 사이의 결정적인 차이는 해체와는달리 트랜스크리틱이 이론적 구조를 확정할 수 있게 해준다는 점이다. 그러나 실천을 논하기 위하여 먼저 이론의 구조를 확정지어야 한다는 강박은 대상으로서의 실재에 대한 단순화와 도식화라는 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 그러므로 가라타니의 문제,즉 이론적 구조에 대한 명징성의 추구가 실천의 가능성과 방향을 제한하고 억압할수 있다는 문제는 모든 이론적 확정의 시도가 필연적으로 떠안아야 하는 위험을보여주는 것에 다름 아니다.
Abstract
Karatani did ‘Kantian Turn’ from deconstruction to transcritique in order to live up to the ethical imperative of communism at the end of last century. Despite of the similarity between deconstruction and transcritique as a strategy of critique, the major difference is that transcritique makes it possible to build a theoretical construction contrary to deconstruction. But the compulsion to define the theoretical construction before presenting practical strategy can bring about simplification of the real. Therefore Karatani’s problem, or problem of the possibility that the pursuit of clearness of theoretical construction can limit and suppress possibility and direction of the practice, reveals the risk that all attempts to define theoretical constructions must bear inevitably
