류동민 교수의 책, <수리마르크스경제학>의 출간에 즈음하여 마르크스 가치이론을 수리모델로 나타내는 데 있어서 간과되고 있는 세 가지 문제를 지적하고 그 해결책을 같이 모색하였다. 하나는 ‘수학적 부호로 상품가치를 나타낸다면 그것은 반드시 물리적 양이 아닌 사회적인 양, 즉 사회적 실체를 나타내어야 하는데 그러려면 어떻게 해야 할까?’ 하는 문제이고, 다른 하나는 ‘상품가치의 양적 관계로 사회적 관계를 나타낼 수 있도록 가치관계식을 정의하려면 어떤 특별한 장치가 있어야 할까?’ 하는 문제이다. 그러려면 주류경제학의 투입계수행렬과는 다른 형태로 가치관계식을 표기해야 할 뿐 아니라 직접노동의 투입량도 종래와는 다른 사회적 실체로 표기해야 된다는 것을 강조했다. 나머지 문제는 자본의 가치, 그중에서도 특히 고정자본의 가치를 나타내는 방법에 관한 것이다.
Abstract
This paper attempts to resolve three problems deliberately ignored in Professor Rieu’s Mathematical Marxian Economics. The first is how to denote mathematical variables of commodity values as social quanta rather than physical ones. The second is to question the prerequisites of quantitative equations that have to refer to commodity-values as social relationships. Input coefficient matrixes need to be designated in different forms from those of physical quantities, and the amount of direct input labor has to be designed to represent a quantum of current social substance rather than of physical labor amount. The final problem is how to note the amount of capital values in different quanta between organic and bookkeeping values, and of fixed capital values in particular.
